How much does online therapy cost?

The answer is, it depends on affordability. The standard rate without concession is £120 for 50 minutes. However, RegenPsychology is committed to accessible therapy and does offer some spaces at reduced fees, based on affordability. A free 15 minute consultation is provided to everyone. If choosing to continue, fees are payable prior to each session. 

Is online therapy as effective as face-to-face therapy?

Research consistently shows that online therapy can be as effective as face-to-face therapy for many common mental health difficulties, including anxiety, depression and trauma-related concerns. The most important factors influencing outcomes are the quality of the therapeutic relationship and the use of evidence-based approaches. At RegenPsychology, therapy is grounded in both, ensuring you receive structured, compassionate support tailored to your needs.

What happens in the first session?

The first therapy session focuses on understanding what has brought you to seek support and what you would like to change. We will explore your current difficulties, previous experiences  and goals for therapy. Together, we agree on a plan for moving forward. There is no need to prepare, be assured the psychologist is ready to take you through the session.

How long does therapy take?

The length of therapy depends on your goals and the nature of your difficulties. Some clients benefit from short-term, structured CBT for anxiety or depression, while others prefer longer-term therapy to explore deeper patterns. This is reviewed collaboratively throughout the process, and can be discussed with me in our first session.

What issues do you work with?

I support adolescents and adults experiencing a range of difficulties, this can be short-term stress or from past trauma. Whether you have anxiety, feel low, feel triggered by past trauma, are self-critical or having relationship difficulties. Therapy is tailored to your individual needs using evidence-based approaches. How to get started

Send an email or complete the contact form. I will get back to you within 48 hours and arrange a time to meet online, via Teams. You will need to download the Teams App if you do not yet have it. Instructions will be provided when booking.
